3rd Hand Percussion offers a line of innovative products designed to give percussionists and drumset artists alike new and inventive ways to play their instruments.
The Conguero Hi Hat™ is a device that attacks the bottom side of the desired instrument. It comes equipped with a mounting rod to allow use of any brand percussion instrument that has a standard 1/2" post mount.
The Conguero Hi Hat™ allows a player to interact on a single instrument simultaneously with feet and hands, opening up possibilities.
The beater mounting bolt is sized to accept all brands of bass drum pedal beaters.
The Downbeater™ is intended the be used to play on top of instruments that must be attacked from the topside. It's even possible to play on a drum using 4 sticks!
A benefit to having the 360º placement option is that a bass drum no longer must be positioned directly in front of the player; side placement is possible.
Various striking mechanisms can be created (what kinds of striking mechanisms? There needs to be some sort of options to purchase these. Or, create a kit for optional strikers.) The Downbeater™ comes with a standard striking stick.
The Hand™ allows you to quickly and easily change from sticks to brushes, back to sticks again. The wide stance of the spaces between fingers allow you to quickly slam a stick down and grab another without missing a beat. You can also store backup sticks as well.
The Hand™ mounts on a standard cowbell mount and comes in various colors (What colors?)
